WHAT IS KABBALAH?: "KABBALAH is the word used to describe the body of esoteric and mystical traditions passed down from G-d to Moshe (Moses), the other prophets, and the later Sages.
Kabbalah gives the keys to conceptualizing many spiritual workings of the universe- that are within are capacity to conceptualize as well as deeper insights into the hidden spiritual meanings reflected in the physical world, scientific world, historical events, and of course Biblical people and events.
Much of our approach follows the direction of the great recent scholar Rabbi Arye Kaplan of blessed memory. Therefore, whenever we speak of Kabbalah we refer to the theortical and conceptual study to broaden our outlook and elevate ourselves. The subject of "practical" Kabbalah is regarded as a realm whose very study is only fit for great spiritual figures of spiritually greater generations over 1,000 years ago. However, each generation is only given and only expected those things that it needs for its task, what they are capable of, and what is expected of them."
