Patti "boom boom" Alcivar is a professional boxer with an accomplished amateur boxing career having won two consecutive NYC Golden Gloves titles at 119lb in 1998 & 1999. She also won the gold at the first Women's National Amateur Boxing titles in 1997 and a silver medal following year winning the distinguished "athlete of the year" title by the United States Olympic Committee becoming first female in history to be awarded with that title.
