Motorola XPRT stuck in CDMA activation loop

Motorola XPRT stuck in CDMA activation loop: "Hello Patrick,

I've had and sold the XPRT two weeks ago. To bypass the sprint activation, you need to turn on airplane mode by pressing power button. It will try to activate for a little while and report that it failed. Then you can turn off the airplane mode and select gsm/umts network.

Hope it helps."

THE SOLITARY REAPER: Android tips** Sign an update.zip to run in recovery mode

THE SOLITARY REAPER: Android tips** Sign an update.zip to run in recovery mode: "checking out new ROMs and other applications, until i came up with Titanium backup pro. Its such a wonderful took to take backup of your applications along with the data and settings. You can even remove apps which were preinstalled with the phone, freeze it or take backup. There is a feature in Titanium backup where you can create an update.zip so that you can directly install Titanium from recovery mode (this helps a lot of time installing every application you flash the ROM)."

HowStuffWorks "Is Cell Phone Unlocking Legal?"

HowStuffWorks "Is Cell Phone Unlocking Legal?": "The last question everyone asks about cell phone unlocking: is it legal? In Europe, the answer is generally yes. Though laws differ from country to country, they tend to favor consumers over companies. In the United States, the answer is also yes. The U.S. Copyright Office issues rulings every three years, and in 2006, they declared that unlocking a cell phone does not infringe on the copyright of the phone manufacturer or service provider, and therefore isn't prohibited [source: Ars Technica]"

Win Their Loyalty: Ensure Your Customers Feel Special - Forbes

Win Their Loyalty: Ensure Your Customers Feel Special - Forbes: "Our philosophy has been to take most of the money we would have spent on paid advertising and invest it into customer service and customer experience instead, letting our customers do the marketing for us through word of mouth.”

I can tell you, using myself as a focus group of one, it’s working. I’ll tell anyone who asks – and even some who don’t – that, after my first Zappos purchase, I received a seemingly “secret” email telling me I was invited to an exclusive VIP club that gives "

The 5 Minute Guide To Cheap Startup Advertising

The 5 Minute Guide To Cheap Startup Advertising: "“What are we going to do with the $300 we have stashed away for advertising?” Consider this your lucky day. The goal of this article is to provide you with the core of what you need to know about cheap startup advertising as quickly as possible, so you can start spending that ad budget wisely. Let's get started.

Two Key Advertising Strategies

The half-life of advertising traffic is zero. This means that the moment you stop shelling out cash, the traffic stops. The problem is that with typical conversion rates of 1-2% you're paying for 98 or 99 out of every 100 people to walk away and never come back to your site"

Imagine that you've just completed version 1 of your product and you're preparing for launch. You’ve greased the wheels with a few bloggers, targeted some keywords with SEO, created a bit of linkbait, and scheduled the press release to launch in the morning. At this point your co-founder turns to you and says: “What are we going to do with the $300 we have stashed away for advertising?”"

Facebook Scoops Up Face.com For $55-60M To Bolster Its Facial Recognition Tech (Updated) | TechCrunch

Facebook Scoops Up Face.com For $55-60M To Bolster Its Facial Recognition Tech (Updated) | TechCrunch: "Facebook could create some sort of API or otherwise allow app developers to build in Face.com’s facial recognition…as long as they integrated with Facebook and let users share content back to it.

The $1 billion Instagram purchase made it obvious that Facebook sees mobile photos and the communities that share them as critical to its future. Once that acquisition closes, Facebook could even port Face.com’s facial recognition to Instagram."

Haskalah - My Jewish Learning

Haskalah - My Jewish Learning: "There was, of course, considerable intellectual activity in the life of the ghetto but this was in the traditional mode of study, chiefly the study of the Talmud and the Codes, with no desire for instruction in the new learning that followed on the Renaissance, to which the Jews, with few exceptions, had no access.

Nevertheless, there were a number of German Jews in the middle of the eighteenth century who had managed to acquire a degree of general education and “enlightenment.” "

MEVO MODI'IM

MEVO MODI'IM: "Chickens kept free range are the easiest to maintain. For example, a poor person / family living in a rural area who have no income would receive 20 egg laying chickens which would give them daily eggs and Shabbat chickens and in the breeding season each female chicken multiplies by 15 or 20 breeding a few times each season. Goats are also good to keep if free grazing land is available. Excess produce from the breeding centers will be given to needy families living in town. The main advantage of this project is that livestock multiplies, which makes your initial donation a greater mitzvah than you ever could imagine."

Cash Advance Lending

Cash Advance Lending: " Steer clear of acquiring huge amount of money loan when it is away from capability and also financial balance. Otherwise, you will end up incurring debts should you didn’t repay it on time. Be sure to avail money financial products when necessary and not to help financial vacations.

Effects regarding Disappointment to repay
Don’t be too comfy in the event the mortgage lender does not do any appraisal of creditworthiness ahead of approving you financial lending options. Loan companies can easily file suit you if you didn’t repay your cash mortgage on time. The hardest situation is always that if the lending company looks for judgment regarding failure to settle, you will be accountable for the court fees as well as legal professional costs."

2010 - Blue Mt Hike

2010 - Blue Mt Hike: "The hike is located at the Blue Mountain Reservation, about 1 hr north of Manhattan. The hike is in a forested area, and passes some streams, swamps, and scenic viewpoints and near lakes. It does have 750 ft of elevation, as we climb to the top of two local mountains, which makes it harder than a simple ‘walk in the park’. It’s an easy to moderate hike for those who can walk 5 miles without trouble, and I would rate it as a 4 out of 10 in terms of difficulty.

The event is free. Each year, I try and have at least one free event and I will provide some snacks to those coming. However, there is an $8 per car fee to enter the park, so keep that in mind as a driver and if you take at least 3 passengers, you will have all of your driving, tolls and entrance fees paid for!
